How we work
Our ethos
All our clients receive advice from experienced fee earners and an emphasis is placed on our staff having the necessary expertise and experience at all times. We provide a service which is both efficient and cost effective. We provide all our clients with independent advice, free from any pressure which would prevent us from acting in the client's best interests. Conflict checks are critical and particular consideration is always given at the commencement of any case to any conflict which may arise with a Local Authority client.
Specialist solicitors
Several of our solicitors are members of specialist panels, such as the Law Society's Children Panel and the Resolution Accredited Specialist scheme, and membership of such specialist panels is always promoted throughout the firm. Staff also have access to best professional practice, legislation, case law, guidance and inquiry reports through a well run library.
Fairness and equality
We are committed to our policy that in relation to our own employees, clients or other professionals, we will not discriminate on grounds of race, colour, ethnic or national origins, sex, marital status or sexual orientation, disability, age, religion or belief.
Client Care
We have set procedures for dealing with client care and any complaints. We always maintain the highest standards when dealing with clients.
Additional specialist advice and assistance
Consideration must be given to seeking specialist advice, when required, from experienced third parties, particularly barristers and medical advisers and we keep a regularly updated list of approved experts.
Supervision
There is regular supervision of all files and fee-earners by supervisors independent to the particular fee earner concerned. This ensures the quality of the service provided by the firm is of a high standard and consistency.
Staff development
The professional and personal training of all staff to a level of competence appropriate to their work is very important. This is essential to maintain our level of specialism and to consider expanding into complementary areas of law.
Creighton and Partners is committed to ensuring that their services are accessible to all. To obtain further details or to request copies of any of the firm’s policies please contact Tracy Woodland on 020 7976 2233 or email tracy.woodland@creighton.co.uk
