Public children

We have a specialist child care and adoption team who can provide you with advice and assistance with cases relating to children. We have a number of solicitors who are accredited as members of the Law Society Children Panel. We are also a member of the Grandparents Association.

We currently represent a number of Local Authorities undertaking all of their social and community services work, including representation at court. We therefore have a vast amount of knowledge in this area of law.

SOCIAL SERVICES INTERVENTION IN FAMILY LIFE
The intervention of social services in the life of any family is difficult for all concerned. Court proceedings may be lengthy and can be both frightening and overwhelming.

We represent parents, other family members and carers in a range of child care cases where social services are involved. The advice and representation we provide can range from attending child protection conferences to representation at court, including Emergency Protection Proceedings and Care Proceedings. We offer the highest level of advocacy and advice in dealing with public law proceedings

We also have several solicitors who are members of the Children panel who are able to provide specialist legal advice and representation to children and young people involved in proceedings.
