We are a child and family law firm, providing advice and representation in child, family and social services law.
We specialise particularly in public child care law. The main office provides expert public law advice and representation for London. As part of our expansion, we opened a branch office in Staines, Middlesex to offer the same specialist service to Surrey and West London.
We also have an established private family law department undertaking matrimonial work. We offer advice, assistance and representation in all areas of family and matrimonial law.
In addition, we have recently expanded our community care department with the intention of marketing and providing a specialist service in this growing area of law.
FUNDING
Child care and family & matrimonial work is undertaken on either a private or Publicly Funded (Legal Aid) basis subject to eligibility. The community care work that we undertake is privately funded by Local Authorities or groups. Training can be provided by our experts which is also privately funded.

In Child care work we represent Local Authorities, children and guardians and parents in the Family Proceedings Court, County Court and High Court.
WHO WE ACT FOR
Our Head Office in Bloomsbury mostly provides services to clients residing or working in the Central London area, although we do act as agents for Local Authorities and other solicitors across England.
We act for parents, children and relatives in public and private law proceedings relating to children. We are able to act for clients under legal help or funding from the Legal Services Commission in cases before the Family courts. Please contact us for advice as to whether you are entitled to legal aid for your particular matter. If you are not eligible for legal aid we are happy to provide estimate of our costs at reasonable hourly rates as a privately funded client.
We act for a number of Local Authorities in London and the South of England in providing advice and representation in all aspects of Child Care and Community Care law. We work with Local Authorities to provide an overflow service when in house teams need assistance and have arrangements with a number of Local Authorities and consortia to step in when help is required.
