Chuma has been working within Mental Health Law for over 8 years and is Mental Health Panel Accredited.
Chuma chose Mental Health Law as he wanted to practice in an area of law which would allow him to have a hands on approach with assisting vulnerable people. He has vast experience in working with civil and criminally detained patients as well as patients who have been placed on conditional discharges and community treatment orders.
Client care is important to Chuma and therefore he is very much dedicated to achieving realistic outcomes for clients whether that be via Care Plan Approach meetings, Hospital Manager Hearings or Mental Health Tribunals.
Chuma believes that there is nothing more rewarding than representing a vulnerable patient's legal rights and knowing that you have served them effectively in safeguarding their liberty.
