Creighton & Partners appear for Westminster Council in successful appeal in Supreme Court

Creighton & Partners have appeared on behalf of Westminster City Council in their successful appeal in the Supreme Court. The case clarifies when duties are owed under section 21 of the National Assistance Act 1948 to those suffering from a mental disorder.

Westminster City Council succeeded unanimously in their appeal. The Council was represented by Sheetal Shah (solicitor, creighton and partners ), Tony Harrop Griffiths (junior council) and John Howell QC.
