Tracy undertook her training contract at Westminster City Council and qualified as a solicitor in 1996. She moved into the Social Services team at Westminster in 1997 and has specialised exclusively in the law relating to children since that time.

Tracy became a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel in 2000. She often represents local authorities or children in both care proceedings and adoption proceedings, in both London and Surrey.
When not working, Tracy likes to spend time with her family and travels extensively in Portugal, where she tries but often fails to communicate in Portuguese.
